Six Bugs Fell From the MyCorporation Ceiling… What Happens Next you Won’t Believe!!

On Monday, November 21, 2016, at approximately 2:30 PM PST, six bugs fell from the MyCorporation ceiling, and everything changed.

It all started when an employee spotted a few big bugs (first thought to be “giant ants”) crawling around her workspace. News spread like wildfire and within a matter of minutes numerous employees were getting out of their seats to search for more bugs- some even getting on all fours to investigate under desks and filing cabinets. After a few minutes of fervent investigation,   approximately two more “ants” were found… but this time… on desks, not on the ground. The conclusion was drawn that the bugs (could it be??) must be falling from the ceiling. Chaos ensued.  (more…)

How Not to Get Fired, as Told by MyCorp Employees

According to toughnickel.com, some of the top reasons for getting fired are: unreliable work/behavior, talking too much about personal matters, an inability to do assigned tasks without numerous errors, and an inability to get along with co-workers and customers.

We here at MyCorp think our employees are great at not getting fired.

In fact, every single employee at MyCorporation right now, has never been fired from his/her current position. So we like to think of them as experts on the subject.   (more…)

Four Kinds of Crummy Mission Statements

Mission statements are one of those holdovers from the domineering American corporate culture of the eighties, and while they can be extremely useful to focus a new business, most of the time they’re bland, and lack any sort of creative touch or impulse. Normally this wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but business schools have a terrible habit of taking the most inoffensive, uninspired mission statements from major corporations and printing them out as an example to which our future entrepreneurs can aspire.

So we decided to go through a list of multi-national companies and found four odd/funny/not all there upstairs mission statements to help future entrepreneurs reading our blog avoid being the butt of a small time business blog’s jokes. (more…)
