2015 is officially here! And business forecasters all across the internet are scrambling to their crystal balls to give their predictions as to what is, and isn’t, going to work in the new year. Here at MyCorporation, we’re wrapping up the year with a look back at the business trends of 2013 in the United States in our latest infographic. From our own website data, we studied growing businesses and discovered that the largest area of growth was within micro sized businesses while by the industry, mining, quarrying, oil and gas extraction tied with professional, scientific, and technical services. The small business outlook for 2014 is one that is quite positive, with 65% of the 951 businesses we surveyed expecting growth opportunities to increase and 53% of businesses expecting to hire more employees for their teams. Our infographic also explores what skills from employees are most in demand, policies most likely to lead to job creation, financial trends in capital acquisition, and the growing industries we can expect to see in 2014.
