Now, we are highlighting additional resources where entrepreneurs can find small business relief.

We’re here for small businesses, in times of uncertainty and always. Scroll through this roundup and see where your small business may begin applying for funding relief.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

The SBA has a wide variety of business relief and assistance programs available for small businesses at the federal level. These include, but are not limited to, the following forms of aid.

Paycheck Protection Program

This SBA program has authorized up to $349 billion to go towards job retention for the millions of Americans employed by small businesses. Eligible recipients for the Paycheck Protection Program include small businesses, nonprofit organizations, veteran organizations, tribal businesses, and qualifying self-employed individuals and independent contractors.

The Paycheck Protection Program allows recipients to qualify for a loan up to $10 million, based on eight weeks of prior average payroll and an added 25% of that amount. There is a six-month deferment period for loan payments. Businesses able to maintain their workforce will have a portion of loan proceeds used to cover the first eight weeks of payroll forgiven by the SBA.

SBA Disaster Assistance Loans

If your business or nonprofit was severely impacted by COVID-19, apply for a disaster assistance loan through the SBA. Low-interest loans provided to eligible businesses may use the funds to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other small business bills. Currently, small business owners in all U.S. states and territories are eligible to apply for a loan.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan

A loan advance of $10,000 will also be provided as a source of economic relief. Funds are available within three days of a successful application. This portion of the advance does not need to be repaid.
