2018 was a big year for MyCorporation, and we are thankful for so much! We turned 20-years-old and celebrated two decades of being in business and providing excellent customer service.
Our joyous moments were also coupled with challenging ones. Our office (and team) are safe from the recent Woolsey Fire in Southern California, and for that we could not be more thankful.
No blessing is too big or small to be grateful for this year. Take a look at what our team is most thankful for this Thanksgiving.
I am most thankful for my home and family! I know so many people who have lost so much recently here in California, and it makes me aware of how much I have been blessed with. MyCorporation survived the recent fires and for that I am also so grateful! I depend on my job for my livelihood, but I also care so much about our business. Our clients help give me purpose. My fabulous coworkers offer me support and make me laugh every day! — Becky Sherwin
I’m thankful for my happy and healthy family. — Carri Brown
I am thankful for the love and support of the MyCorp team! Knowing that my family had to evacuate due to the fire, I received a slew of texts, calls, and Facebook messages asking if everyone was alright, and if any assistance was needed. The flood of support and kind words were greatly appreciated and valued during this stressful, frightening time.
I am also grateful for modern technology! After the fire, I learned just how much our day-to-day lives depend on technology. In addition to needing technology to run an office, I learned that it plays a key role during times of disaster. Many would have been in the dark about the severity of the fires without the robo calls/texts to evacuate.
I think I am mostly grateful for our community coming together to create a united front in the face of adversity. The union and kindness of neighbors, first responders, and even total strangers has shed light during a dark time. And of course, I’m grateful for my amazing, supportive family. While they did drive me crazy when they (six of them in addition to my boyfriend and I and three dogs) stayed with me in my one bedroom apartment during the fire, I wouldn’t trade them for the world. Last, but definitely not least, I’m thankful for my four legged fur baby, Dahlia. — Chloe Nichols
Every day, I’m reminded about how much love and support I have from my family, friends, and coworkers. Although I am blessed with a terrific job, loving boyfriend and family, I am most grateful to have such an amazing great grandmother.
At the young age of 92-years-old, she’s loves me wholeheartedly and doesn’t judge me. I talk to her almost every day and she shares her experiences, wisdom, and knowledge with me. She is my best friend that I can spill all my secrets to and my go-to person for all of life’s gossip and endeavors. I love her so much. I’m so grateful that I get the chance to know her in my twenties because that’s the age where I’m just starting to experience and figure out all that life has to offer. When I’m confused, she helps guide me and when I’m down she always finds a way to bring me up. I’m incredibly grateful that I get the chance to know her! — Brittany Gamble
This year, I am thankful for the safety of my community after the fires. I am grateful for my family, friends, home, and job. — Heather Taylor
I am thankful for my family, friends, my health and my career! Without all of this I wouldn’t be me! — Tracy Newman
I am thankful the MyCorp team came out of the fire disaster relatively unscathed. The fact that our building is still standing and we all still have our jobs is a beautiful thing. I am also thankful for my family, friends, and my beloved cat Squirrel. — Liz Cohen
Grateful every day for family, friends, a home, and a job. — Nancy Nash
I am thankful for my family, friends, my job, and my freedom and opportunities. — Meghan Record
I am thankful for my family, health, the good in people, the little things in life like laughter, and a toilet that flushes. I am also thankful for the bigger things in life such as a place to call home, the love for one another, to have a job… The list could go on and on. — Sarah Plante
This year I am most thankful that my home and MyCorporation were saved from the fire! Also, for our amazing friends that took us and our three pets in at 2:30 AM. They graciously let us stay for four nights until we could return home! — Brenda Gordon
What am I thankful for this year? My family, boyfriend, and friends. There’s an endless amount of reasons why, but as cliché as it is I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. Overall, they are the reason for my happiness in life. My health, which speaks for itself. My education, by simply being able to have the opportunity to learn and grow. And my job, which allows me to gain work experience. — Sasha Madrigal
I am thankful for good health, a wonderful family, a strong community and unsurpassed colleagues! — Deborah Sweeney
We are all safe from the fires, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I am glad that my family is safe from all the catastrophes that have happened in the past few weeks. I am grateful for my work family, my husband who I will be celebrating 25 years of marriage with in a few weeks, and my wonderful daughters who bring me the greatest joy. — Marla Simon
I’m thankful for my family and friends, and the support system I know that comes along with them. I’m thankful for my job and the team we get to work with on the daily! — Alyssa Reilly
I’m thankful for the experiences (good and bad) I was able to acquire working with different groups of people and personalities over the years. — Bernard Perlas
